The number of treatments needed varies depending on the severity of your skin’s pigmentation. On average, 6-8 sessions are recommended, followed by an evaluation to assess your progress. Some individuals may see desired results after this, while others with more persistent pigmentation may require additional treatments.
We recommend starting with a “test patch” to confirm your suitability for the treatment and gauge potential outcomes. Sessions are typically scheduled every two weeks. It’s advised to avoid fragranced products for at least three days before treatment, and to protect your skin by staying out of the sun and wearing sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to prevent further pigmentation damage.
After the treatment, there is no downtime, and you can resume normal activities. It’s common to experience mild redness immediately after, which typically fades within a few hours. Additionally, you may notice a light, grazed appearance on the skin as the pigmentation rises to the surface, which can last up to two weeks. During this time, avoid picking or exfoliating the treated area.
